The finca is idyllically situated at the foot of the Serra de Godall with a wide, unobstructable view of the valley of the Montsià mountains. This location has been inhabited for 50,000 years: prehistoric cave paintings decorate the mountain range, the Roman Via Augusta runs opposite the nearby ancient Iberian settlement, hundreds of 1000-year-old olive trees dot the landscape and medieval buildings stand out throughout the valley.
With 367 m2 of living space and 1.7 hectares of land, the property offers plenty of space for all amenities: 4 terraces (one in each cardinal direction), a 10m x 5m pool, fenced Mediterranean gardens, olive groves, 4 large bedrooms, 3 living/dining rooms, 3 complete bathrooms, 2 recently renovated kitchens and with several convertible garages for hobbies and storage. 3 generations of our family have lived on this finca. Our son grew up here, and spent his entire school years from kindergarden to A-level in Ulldecona.
Ulldecona (about 3 minutes): This charming town, with its lively main street and many shops in the pedestrian area, offers its 6,240 inhabitants a vibrant community. As well as large supermarkets, you will find cosy tapas bars, cafes, renowned restaurants – including some with coveted Michelin stars – as well as a selection of hotels, hairdressers and modern gyms. Education and culture are at the heart of the town, with a kindergarten, primary and secondary schools, as well as a music school and a regional theatre with regular performances and concerts. A 24-hour medical centre, with emergency services, and three pharmacies are also available in the town.
